Day 44 – If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon
Sidney Sheldon, baby!
I don’t believe in guilty pleasures – why be guilty?
But if you want some escapist reading, the twists and turns of Sidney Sheldon are about as escapist as you can get.
Completely outlandish sometimes – I mean, there are moments you really need to suspend your disbelief. But boy, are they fun….
Again, I probably read my last one 30 years ago, but there are scenes I remember to this day, and certainly some characters.
Like Tracey Whitney!
Are you a fan? Do you have a favorite?
Some of his books don’t exactly have HEAs, if I remember correctly, so I definitely prefer the ones that do….
If Tomorrow Comes
Lovely, idealistic Tracy Whitney is framed into a fifteen year sentence in an escape-proof penitentiary. With dazzling ingenuity she fights back to destroy the untouchable crime lords who put her there. With her intelligence and beauty as her only weapons, Tracy embarks on a series of extraordinary escapades that sweep her across the globe. In an explosive confrontation Tracy meets her equal in irresistible Jeff Stevens, whose past is as colorful as Tracy’s.
